“Summer Joy was painted from the Flat Irons in Boulder, Colorado. When my daughter was attending law school in Boulder, I would go to visit as often as possible. My favorite place to go was up Table Mesa Drive near where she lived. The mountains were always spectacular to look at, and the summer time was so green and inviting. I would hike in the area each day of my visits, always feeling the peacefulness of the nature around me.”
