“On a painting trip with a dear friend we went to Ghost Ranch where Georgia O’Keeffe painted so many of her paintings. The area was very inviting, the colors of the rock formations were so different from any that I had seen before. The time of year I would have thought would have been bright and colorful with spring colors, yet on this day it snowed, making the feeling very different with the sun being obscured with the heavy air. A real treat to be able to convey the atmosphere.”
