This painting was created on a day Plein Aire painting with friends in the lower valley of El Paso along the Rio Grande River at the Wetland Refuge which is cared for by the University of Texas at El Paso. In December in most places enerything is already bare but in El Paso that can sometimes be our Fall. This particular day the treess along the river were brilliant gold.
