“This was painted during a plein air painting excursion. I was headed Southeast of El Paso to the Rio Bosque Wetlands, which run next to the Rio Grande River. to meet up with painting friends. It was a little overcast but the colors were very vivid here. The trees were beginning to change, and the air was heavy with the feeling of cold moving in. It was a fun day.”
