“Storm Moving In was painted on a plein air trip with my friends at the Rio Bosque Wetlands Park east of El Paso, Texas. It was an early December morning, and we could tell something was headed our way in the way of weather. The s ky was cloudy and threatening in the distance yet the strong color of trees along the ditch road showed the seasons change. However subtle that may be in this area. As the morning passed the temperature dropped and the cold had arrived.”
