“Reflections of the Burl is painted from an area of El Paso in the Upper Valley along the RIo Grande River. On this particular day it had snowed early, which is rare in El Paso. The sun came out and melted the snow and at dusk left that mysterious feeling to the day. The white, leafless poplars were my enticement.”
