“This was painted from my first trip to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.  It was such a breathtaking area, I wanted to give the feeling of evening approaching with lights on in the cabins on the hill.  The mountains in the distance felt so very cold and the ground was really covered with so much snow. Almost felt like a dream.”
